{"id":1986,"date":"2014-09-28T21:10:11","date_gmt":"2014-09-28T08:10:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/westcoastrfu.com\/?p=1986"},"modified":"2014-09-28T21:10:11","modified_gmt":"2014-09-28T08:10:11","slug":"costello-and-winter-shine-for-nz-heartland-under-19s","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/westcoast.retrorugby.net\/index.php\/2014\/09\/28\/costello-and-winter-shine-for-nz-heartland-under-19s\/","title":{"rendered":"Costello and Winter Shine For NZ Heartland Under 19&#8217;s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/westcoastrfu.files.wordpress.com\/2014\/09\/u19.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-1987\" src=\"http:\/\/westcoastrfu.files.wordpress.com\/2014\/09\/u19.jpg\" alt=\"u19\" width=\"264\" height=\"352\" \/><\/a><span style=\"color:#800000;\">West Coast Heartland reps Josh Costello and Logan Winter continued their fine form this season, this time with outstanding performances in the Black jersey of the New Zealand Heartland Under 19 selection, defeating the Tasman Under 19&#8217;s 25-15 at\u00a0the inaugural Jock Hobbs Memorial National Under 19 Tournament\u00a0being played in Taupo.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#800000;\">The Coasters both put in some massive defence against some of their bigger opponents, and several of the tackles were praised by the SKY television commentary team for there ferocity. Second Five Costello said both he and number eight Winter enjoyed the game\u00a0immensely, and will enjoy a day off training Monday, with a planned pool session a good chance to rest up and recharge their batteries before Tuesday, where they will have a morning and afternoon training.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#800000;\">With the win, the Heartland side are through to Wednesday&#8217;s Semi-Finals, and will go up against a Southland side that the Tasman side\u00a0defeated a few weeks ago in a qualification\u00a0tournament.
